Policy and instructions for returning your bike

1 You have 30 calendar days to return your purchase. As long as it has not been used, you can get a full refund.

2 All errors on our part as well as warranties carry a cost of 0 euros for the customer. All other returns have a cost of 5 euros in Spain and are at the customer's expense in the EU.

3 Once the product has been received in our warehouse and its condition has been verified, the amount paid at the time of purchase will be refunded. This may take up to 15 working days. If there is any damage, it will be assessed and the customer will be informed prior to payment.

4. A product is considered to be in perfect condition if it is still in its original packaging. If this is not met or if it arrives with damage, a credit of between 30% and 70% will be proposed.

If it is not what you expected, you can return it. You have 48 hours from the time of receipt to make a claim or return the product.

All errors on our part or guarantees have a cost of 0 euros for the customer. The rest of the returns have a cost of 5 euros in national territory and are paid by the customer in the EU. In case of receiving a damaged, defective or erroneous product you can choose to return or exchange (always for the same product), in this case Capribikes will bear all transportation and handling costs, it is essential to present a photo.

Once the product has been received in our warehouse and its condition has been verified, the amount paid at the time of purchase will be refunded. If there is any damage, it will be assessed and the customer will be informed before payment.

It is understood as a product in perfect condition the one that retains its original packaging, if this is not met or arrives with damage, a credit of between 30% and 70% will be proposed.

Damage caused by incorrect adjustment of parts, or misadjustment of parts such as the transmission, brakes, etc. caused by the use of the bicycle are excluded from the guarantee.

To proceed with the return, use ourform to authorise the shipment and we will refund your money once we have checked that the product is in perfect condition (products in perfect condition are understood to be those that have not been ridden or show strong signs of use) with manuals, box and original packaging if necessary; if this is not met or it arrives with damage, we will propose a partial refund.

In order to correctly process the return of a bicycle you must take into account the following instructions.

As indicated in the user manual, the bicycle has safety features to ensure that possible damage during transport is kept to a minimum in the event of a return. It is very important that you keep the original packaging and protective elements for at least the first 45 calendar days. It is always necessary to keep these protective elements or, failing that, obtain similar ones, to ensure that the bicycle is not damaged on its return to our warehouse.

Once the bicycle has been received, our technician will assess whether it has been damaged and evaluate each case. If it has not been damaged and the bike is fine, you will be refunded the full amount paid for the bike at the time of purchase.

If it has been damaged, it will be assessed, documented and, depending on the severity of the damage, you may receive a partial refund of the amount paid at the time of purchase.

Make sure that no part of the bike is loose (e.g. saddle, pedals, handlebars) to prevent the bike from being knocked during transport. Use straps to make sure there are no loose parts (blue signs in the following images) and foam (black signs in the following images) to protect the bicycle you wish to return.

The refund will be made once we receive the items at our premises. You will receive the refund in the same payment method you used for your purchase. It may take up to 14 days for the amount to be reflected in your account, depending on your bank.

All products sold from 1 January 2022 are covered by a three-year legal guarantee against non-conformity, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users.

For products purchased prior to this date, the legal guarantee period will be two years from the time of delivery and will be applicable, in relation to the legal guarantee and its exercise, the provisions of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users in its wording prior to the amendments introduced by RD Law 7/2021, of 27 April. Capri Bikes will not accept any responsibility if the manufacturer of the product does not consider the guarantee applicable to the product claimed.

Always remember to follow the usual maintenance advice in order to make effective use of your guarantee.

Capri bikes guarantees its bicycles against any manufacturing or assembly defect, covering the replacement of parts recognised as defective or their repair under the following conditions:

- Duration: 3 years against manufacturing and assembly defects.

- During this period, the holder of the guarantee will be responsible for the replacement of the parts recognised as defective During this period, the holder of the guarantee shall be entitled to free repair of the original defects, including transport or travel expenses.

- This warranty does not affect the rights of the consumer according to the legislation in force in each country.

The costs arising from the application of the warranty will always be treated according to the original country of shipment.

The warranty is limited to the original purchaser of the bicycle, who must provide proof of purchase.

The inclusion of a defective bicycle or part in the warranty conditions is ultimately subject to the decision of our Technical Service.

A repair or replacement under warranty does not extend the warranty period.

Under no circumstances does the warranty cover the replacement of parts whose wear and tear is a consequence of normal use of the bicycle.

These parts are the following, this list being merely enunciative and in no way limitative.

Items excluded from the warranty

O-rings, Cups, Bearings, Brake pads, Threads, Sprockets, Grips and bands, Screws, Rubber parts (Tyres and inner tubes), Saddle, Shift and brake cables and casings, Spokes and nipples, ebike batteries*.

* The loss of autonomy of the battery, as a consequence of its ageing, is not a manufacturing defect, as it is an inherent behaviour of the properties of lithium. Therefore, the warranty will only apply if the loss of autonomy is less than 70%. In the event that the user/point of sale requires Capri Bikes to carry out an autonomy test on a battery, and the report generated by said test shows a result equal to or greater than 70%, the former will bear the costs generated by the performance of said test, as well as the derived shipping costs, if applicable.

- The guarantee will not be applied in any case to breakages or defects derived from negligent use of the bicycle, use in competition, assembly of non-original accessories, or incorrect handling and maintenance operations. The user must maintain the product purchased in good condition in accordance with the instructions and recommendations contained in the instruction book of the bicycle and in the manuals published on the website, Capri bikes and Biciclasica may reject warranty claims that are directly due to a defect in the maintenance of the product by the user.

- This warranty refers only to the replacement of defective components, not covering in any case personal injury that may arise directly or indirectly from the failure of the same during use. In the event of a traffic accident, regardless of the direct cause of the accident, the Capri bikes warranty is completely void.

- The warranty does not apply in any case to components of the electrical system that have been disassembled or have undergone modifications to alter their functions without prior authorisation from Capri bikes.

- In the event that the repair carried out is not satisfactory, and the object does not meet the optimum conditions to comply with its intended use, the holder of the guarantee shall be entitled to the replacement of the defective component with another of identical characteristics, or to the refund of the price paid for the damaged component.

- Damage caused by incorrect adjustment of parts, or misadjustment of parts such as the transmission, brakes, etc. caused by the use of the bicycle are excluded from the guarantee.
